Question: How can I get text to indent at the start of a new sentence?

Answer: Go to HTML view as opposed to the standard Visual view when in a post or page, then find the start of the sentence you want to indent and past this code into the start of the sentence: <p style=”text-indent: 30px; text-align: left;”>

Note: If the code doesn’t work first time simply type it in as opposed to copying and pasting it in from here.  Alternatively, paste it from here into notepad, then copy it from there and paste it into the start of your sentence.

Tip: The trick is to indent the first few sentences of your sales letter e.g. Dear Friend, then the first sentence, second sentence, etc. — what you’ll find is that when in the Visual screen if you merely push return/enter the cursor for entering text will jump down to a new line which is indented.

(It’s best to write the sales letter straight into WordPress instead of doing it in MS Word or similar and pasting it in).
